A video has emerged of a leader of the church claimed by Texas Senate candidate James Talarico as his home for spiritual matters making a horrific claim.
That the congregation, generally, wishes President Donald Trump had been assassinated.
It is TownHall that obtained video of Babs Miller, known as “minister to the parish,” at St. Andrews Presbyterian church in Austin, Texas.
Talarico has claimed that as his home church, he says, since he was 2 years old.
She said, “We still have people in this church who wish that that young man had not just nicked his ear, but had been more successful.”

Explained, Townhall, “She, of course, seems to be referring to Thomas Matthew Crooks, a 20-year-old man who attempted to assassinate President Donald Trump as he rallied supporters in a Butler, Pennsylvania, field in 2024. Miller didn’t get more specific about which church members feel that way, so it’s unclear if they include Talarico.”
She also said, “If you polled our members, and asked them if they were Christian, agnostic, or atheist, the vast majority would say agnostic or atheist because they don’t buy the religion that we got from the Puritans.”
Of course, as WorldNetDaily has reported, Talarico has some unique concepts of what he calls “Christianity.”
His “twisted” beliefs were featured in a brand-new campaign ad dropped Tuesday by Republican candidate Ken Paxton.
The commercial shows an A.I.-generated version of Talarico using crayons to write his personal spin on famous passages of Scripture, based upon his own actual statements all documented in the ad.
“In the beginning, God was non-binary and He wasn’t a Christian,” Talarico is shown saying at the outset in Genesis. “And God said, let there be six genders, and there were.”
The Democrat provides his own very different version of the famous John 3:16 verse, saying: “Then God so loved the world, that He gave us His only Son, who is a radical feminist and never asked people to worship Him.”
“Look, I always think of myself as a Christian who hates Christianity,” Talarico states. “America is not a Christian nation.”

Talarico, in fact, has spent recent weeks running away from his previous stances that appear to go against biblical teachings.
Despite having made a serious deal about loving “the trans children,” the Democrat is now singing a very different tune.
Appearing on the “Unity Over Division” podcast with Houston defense attorney Dan Cogdell, the Texas state representative declared, “I oppose gender reassignment surgeries for minors.”
