Larry Krasner, the top prosecutor in Philadelphia, long has been known as a victim of Trump Derangement Syndrome, that affliction that responds “But Trump” to just about anything.
He’s one of those who promised to hunt down federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers who are carrying out President Donald Trump’s plans to secure the nation’s borders, remove illegal alien criminals and protect Americans “like Nazi war criminals.”
Now he’s picked a new target: Trump’s plans to improve security and facilities at the White House by building a ballroom, mostly with donated funds, to offer a location for state events and more.
He wants it blown up, even though it’s not yet built.
During an “official ceremony” no less. And he insists that taxpayers, who are not expected to pay for most of the project, will get their money back by having Democrats sell off the rubble to use for paperweights.
“I’m going to have a paperweight sitting on my desk. You know what that paperweight is going to be? It’s going to be a piece of the ballroom after we all blow it up.”
“In an official ceremony we’re going to blow it up.”

He famously opposed Trump’s national security efforts regarding the border and illegal alien criminals with another threat.
Krasner is the same guy who promised to “hunt down” ICE agents like Nazi war criminals after Trump leaves office:

A report from RedState noted, “Trump Derangement Syndrome has made its way to the City of Brotherly Love.”
Krasner’s comment was “one of the more unhinged public statements you’ll hear from an elected official.”
The report noted the “woke” Krasner long has been backed by leftist George Soros’s network.
“He was fantasizing about the future demolition of President Trump’s new White House ballroom. Because that’s what a city DA should be focused on … or something,” the report said.
The construction of the ballroom, while it has begun on the location where the East Wing was before it was demolished, is being fought over in the courts now.
Trump’s plan is for a facility in which to hold state dinners and such.
“In about 10 to 15 years, we are all going to be sitting here with smiles on our faces,” Krasner said. “And I’m going to have a paperweight sitting on my desk. And do you know what that paper weight’s going to be? It’s going to be a piece of the ballroom after we blow it up.”
The report noted Krasner’s thought patterns are similar to those of Madonna, who “also once fantasized about blowing up the White House.”
After his threat, the report said, “Krasner allowed about 10 seconds for the hamster wheel in his dome to start firing up, and he slowly realized what he had just said. That’s when he attempted to add some quantifying details.”
Such as “in an official … official ceremony.”
