Ilhan Omar, the Somali immigrant, Muslim member of Congress representing a Somali immigrant population in Minnesota, has had a share of troubles.
Her extremist agenda includes her claim to be representing Somalia in Congress.
There’s suspicion, confirmed by arrests and convictions, of massive social services program fraud, billions of dollars, in her district.
Experts have said legislation that she pushed through Congress helped that scheme.
Long she’s been suspected, although without proof, of marrying a brother to give him legal status in the U.S.
Her worth went from a negative value, to millions, then back to almost nothing, based on her own reporting.
Then there’s a potential federal immigration investigation into Omar.

Now a report from the Daily Mail reveals police in the Minneapolis area raided the home of her son, confiscated guns and ammunition, and arrested his roommate.
According to Alpha News, police took both guns and ammo from the home occupied by Omar’s son, Adnan Hirsi, and arrested his roommate, identified as Abdulrahman Abdi, 22.

Police raided the apartment of Congresswoman Ilhan Omar’s son and seized firearms
According to the outlet, they recovered guns and ammunition from the home and arrested his roommate Abdulrahman Abdi

The report said police conducted a traffic stop on Abdi and cited him for no proof of insurance and no license. He then was released but his vehicle was kept, and officers then allegedly found a firearm inside.
Abdi was tracked to an address where he was arrested.
He was booked into the Hennepin County Jail on a weapons count, then later was released.
The Daily Mail said it has seen court records confirming Abdi has been convicted 10 times, mostly for misdemeanors.
Last year he was found “speeding and driving despite having his license revoked.”
“In 2024 he was convicted of a felony after officers reported him traveling at 108 miles per hour in St. Paul,” the report said. “A statement of probable cause said he was behind the wheel of a Jeep Grand Cherokee and was speeding alongside a Dodge Durango.”
The report noted Omar claimed months ago that her son was stopped by federal immigration agents who questioned him and then let him go. Federal officials say they have no record that happened.
