Wonder what Americans think about the judiciary?
Because if it's anything close to their opinions on the other two branches of government, Congress and the executive, the country could be in trouble.
A new poll reveals that a full 40 percent of registered voters believe that Barack Obama is doing a poor job as president, and another 17 percent say his performance is "only fair."
And it's worse for Congress, as nearly 62 percent say its performance is poor and another 19 percent say it is only "fair."

With those negatives, who would be surprised by the results from the same poll that showed more than 60 percent of voters believe the nation is on the wrong track?
The results are from the public-opinion research and media consulting company Wenzel Strategies, which conducted a telephone poll for WND Feb. 1-3. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.44 percentage points.
To the question about the direction of the nation, only 33 percent said it was on the right track, and among Democrats, who control the White House and half of Congress, the approval rating was only 52 percent. Among key independents, two out of three say America is off the rails.
Among progressives and liberals, the approval rating only nudged above the 50 percent mark, but among conservatives and very conservatives, some eight out of 10 expressed alarm at the nation's direction.
Blacks were the only racial category that thinks things aren't completely awry, with 62 percent saying the nation is heading the right direction.
Regarding Obama, the assessment predictably aligned on party lines. But among independents, who often make election decisions for the country, only 36 percent described Obama's work as excellent or good. A full 40 percent said his job performance was poor, and another 22 percent said it was only fair.
And as for Congress?
Just 4.2 percent said the members are doing an excellent job. Democrats ranked members highest, with 7.5 percent of the respondents saying Congress is doing excellent. Only 1 percent of independents said the same.
Another 6.8 percent overall said Congress was doing well, leaving 81 percent of the nation with the opinion that Congress' work is only fair or poor.
Even among progressives (68 percent) and liberals (73 percent) there was large disapproval for Congress.
